Happy Thursday! Today is a special Thursday because it's my lovely boyfriend's birthday! I have a tradition of baking him something special every year even though he's a plain cake kind of guy. Well, I baked him a "plain" Funfetti cake, but I'm decorating it by painting Homer Simpson on it! I have to finish decorating it, so hopefully it's not a fail.

I've actually done Simpsons Nails for my boyfriend before here, so I'm confident I can draw his favorite character, Homer, on a cake! Instead of re-doing those nails, I went with Homer's favorite treat: the quintessential pink donut! Obviously, he's a huge Simpsons fan, which has in turn, turned my into one haha. Over the years, I've bought him the first 10 seasons of the show (his favorites), Kidrobots, mugs. We have a love of The Simpsons here!

I started with a base of OPI My Vampire is Buff, which is my favorite neutral! I actually finished the bottle halfway through my mani but luckily, I just got a backup!

I then looked to the Homer Simpson image to mimic the colors!

Lechat Felicity was my perfect donut base.
Morgan Taylor Cou-tour the Streets is my strawberry frosting. 

My sprinkles were Morgan Taylor B-Girly Style (pink), OPI I Just Can't Cope-cabana (yellow), China Glaze Good Tide-ings (periwinkle), and a white creme! I sealed it all with top coat and I'm still wearing it!

Well, I'm off to enjoy his birthday with him! I'll update this post once I finish the cake later! Or maybe I'll do a separate post if you're interested?
