Halloween Stained Glass Nail Art

 Press Sample

I cannot believe this is my last Halloween nail art! I feel like October went by especially fast, which is such a bummer, but I feel like I did enjoy it at least! So today, on Mischief Night (which apparently is only a thing in parts of the northeast?),  am sharing my final nail art for spooky season!

So I have been on Pinterest a lot and this was yet another AI-generated pin I saw. BOO! I would rather imperfect art than something entirely fake. I loved the idea of the art though, so I opted to make the inspiration into my own, very real, flawed nail art!

Lots of colors so I broke it down by color family. I pulled out colors I have not used in ages!

  • Greens: OPI This Isn’t Greenland, Zoya Cooper
  • Grey blue: Zoya August
  • Oranges: OPI It’s a Piazza Cake, OPI Penny Loafer Lane
  • Yellow: Zoya Honey
  • Off white: Duri Cosmetics Bunny Slope
  • Purples: OPI Crimp and Proper, Morgan Taylor Rule the Runway
  • Black creme

I used so many muted colors for this look. So for the stained glass, we have a ghost, a pumpkin, a witch, and a magical candle. Did you notice my witch has purpley skin?! I did a basic silhouette of the witch vs head on. I love my dripping magical candle too. Everything was outlined in black, since stained glass is like that. You could go further and outline your entire nail in black, but I was tired.

Of course, like all my Halloween art, I think it thrives when it is matte. I love the pop of yellow against the muted colors. I was shocked at how many people noticed these nails. While I enjoy them, I didn’t think they were my best most Halloweeny look haha.

I am definitely sad that the Halloween season is over but I am happy I got so many manicures done. To be honest, I have been wearing Halloween nails since the beginning of September, so I am ready to wear other colors and maybe lean into autumn looks. But I have so enjoyed my festive nails!

  1. Great mani. Perfect for Halloween . I've heard of devils night but never mischief night. I finally put Carve out some time on my nails. No nail art but at least they are painted. My fingers actually looked perfect for the season . I finished making beet pickles and freezing beets and my fingers were very stains . Have a good Halloween 🎃 Thanks for sharing 💜
