Vintage Greek Pottery Nail Art

 Press Sample

Oh hello! I’m currently on vacation and had posts ready but never actually scheduled them. Also, I have been publishing comments but cannot reply to them. I have no idea why Blogger does this with Apple products, but I’ll be back soon! This is a look I have had on my Pinterest for a while. I love the striking white and blue pattern and have seen a bunch of versions and combined a bunch. Originally I was going to do this as accent nails then said, let’s do the whole thing!

So I don’t know what to call this. It reminds me of Greece because of the colors but also vintage pottery. My darling called this Mykonos Sunset and I do like that too haha. I looked at a bunch of versions of this manicure to be inspired and then changed the design to fit my nails and ability. I added extra dots, removed some fancy leaf-style designs. I basically went with the flow with what worked and then did the same on my right hand.

Super simple look here with only two colors! This time, I found the perfect blue right away. Usually I take out like 20 blues and narrow it down but not this time!

  • Base: Stella Chroma Super Food For Nails
  • White: OPI Don’t Touch My Tutu
  • Blue: Stella Chroma Big Sky

I like sun pics because I do but I wanted to share how this looks in OTTO lighting. The blue is a bit darker and I love it. I also thought about adding matte top coat but I was just feeling the shiny top coat.

So what do you think? I love when just two colors make such an impact!

  1. Wow I love this look. It really does look like pottery. I hope you're having a lovely and restful vacation. If you're in Greece I hope you are tolerating the extreme heat. Safe travels. Thanks for sharing šŸ’œšŸ’œ

    1. Thank you, Tami! It was nice except where I was, was NOT supposed to get hit by the heat wave and then it was. I wish I went to Greece! But had a lovely time in Maine.
