Stella Chroma A Blue-Footed What?, February Polish Pickup

Stella Chroma is back for Polish Pickup and I cannot be more excited to share this stunner of a polish. The inspiration is super funny too and matches the bird it represents. Let’s check this one out!

For February’s wild animals theme, I made “Blue Footed What?” inspired by the adorable Blue Footed Booby. It’s a medium blue crelly with a scattering of gunmetal grey and silver holo flakies and a bright, blue/green/purple (at extreme angles) shimmer. Best worn in 2-3 coats, it’s a dream to apply and even better to look at! $13.50 for a 15mL bottle. No cap.

A Blue-Footed What?: 3 thin coats plus top coat. I chose to do three very thin coats, but you could do two thick coats. It just depends on your style. Even at two thin coats, this was basically opaque, but I wanted more depth to the shimmer. I absolutely love this shade of blue. It’s like a dusty teal. Then I love the flakes that are in it, and the combo of the darker and brighter flakes. Do not miss out on this one. This is such a great color to come back with. I’ve missed you Stella Chroma!

 

 

For good measure, I added matte top coat, which I love to do with flake polishes like this. It is amazing. Two thumbs up for me!
