Christmas Plaid with Candy Canes

And I am down to the wire, as usual. I realize tonight is Christmas Eve and here I am posting. Well, after I posted my Starbucks cup nail art last night, I sat down to do my Christmas nail art, so here we are! 

Once I sat down, I continued to change my mind about what I wanted to do for my nails. Part of me really wanted to do something sparkly with reflective nail polishes, and I almost did a bunch of ornaments. I also was going to do plaid with reflectives along with the ornaments. Then last minute, I decided to change to an all creme look. I don’t know, but something in me just made me feel like I wanted to go simple. Of course I looked to Pinterest, where I saw some nail arts that I had pinned and decided to do my spin on those.

 

This very simple look is really only three colors! You could use the beige base for the candy cane stripes but I used a white creme.

• Beige: Jessica Cosmetics Moose Milk
• Green: Zoya Wyatt 
• Red: Morgan Taylor Classic Red Lips
• White creme
  

 

This time, I immediately took pictures as opposed to waiting a week (LOL) and so my cuticles are a little shiny. Oh well. I actually may matte this look tomorrow and I will update my post if I do so. Can we also take a moment for Moose Milk? I will need to order one of these soon because I have used it so much!

 

How can I explain this look except that it is beyond simple yet I love it so much?! Green trees and red candy candy!
