Ok so this might be the last Barbie-inspired manicure. I know I had the Totally Hair Barbie but I could not find that one. Well, looking at the dress online, I realized that the Zoya Beachy Brights were basically the same colors! So I set out to create a manicure like her dress!
So I originally planned to give away these Zoya Beachy Brights because they are so tiny. Well a swatch session and two nail arts later, I have made a dent in them so I don't feel okay giving them away. The colors definitely grew on me even though during initial swatching, I feel nothing.
You might be asking, how is this the dress? I wanted to do the swirls that appear on Barbie's dress, but as I sat
down, my brain was overcomplicating the swirl process, and I just
wanted to do something simpler.
Here are the colors I used:
- Base: Stella Chroma Super Food Nail Treament
- Pink: Zoya Yohanna
- Green: Zoya Avani
- Blue: Zoya Pluto
- Purple: Zoya Soraya
- Black: KBShimmer Total Eclipse
I used a tinted base coat because I knew I would be covering up most of my nails and I didn’t want to waste time putting a color down. Using one color at a time, I added random stripes over the nail. I started with the pink, so I added more at the end, because I wanted more pink in there. The last step was to add some dots and lines with a black creme.
Trust yourself while you do this nail art because at first, you are going to think that this will never look good at the end. As you keep adding more stripes, it really does come together.
Such an easy nail art and definitely with be a repeat style in different color palettes. I received a lot of compliments on this look.

That is such a fun manicure. It actually looks like abstract art. Of course the dots bring it together. The colors you used are great. I might try this one. Thanks for sharing💜💜

Yes, abstract art! Please try it if you hadn't already and let me know how it goes. I do think the black brings it all together. I can't wait to do this art again.
