Hello all! What a fun and bright color for you today! Polish pickup’s theme is junk food and what is more fun than that? I have to say that ice cream is probably my favorite junk food and both offerings I have to share with you are inspired by that junk food. I’d say my next favorite are Cheetos but I tend to avoid purchasing them because I like them so much.
KBShimmer Fruity Loops Hand & Body Scrub - $10 – No Cap
Fruity Loops Hand & Body Scrub is a nod to that sugar-loaded breakfast food. A sweet and punchy orange scent gives way to notes of juicy ripe berries. A hint of tart tangerine brightens the sugary vanilla note for a perfect blend that is sweet, but not overpowering. Like those colorful loops, this scrub features a rainbow of swirled colors; coupled with a dash of biodegradable glitter on top, this hand and body scrub is sure to be a cheery treat for your skin.
I am not one for super artificial scents, but I have to tell you this one smells so good. Really it is exactly like a fruity loop cereal with that hint of milk too. This is a perfect summer scent because it is light and refreshing and yummy. I want this in cuticle oil.
KBShimmer Straight To The Pint Nail Polish - $12 – No Cap
Straight
To The Pint nail polish starts off with the palest pink crelly base and
is accented with a mix of small and medium glitters in light purple,
hot pink, and blue, echoing those sugary bits. Buildable in two to three
coats, this crelly polish is a perfect match for your favorite frozen
treat!
Straight To The Pint Nail Polish: 2 coats plus topcoat. The way I like to apply polishes like this is that on the second (or third coat depending on color) coat, I take off as much base as possible so that I'm basically just putting glitters on and they float on top. I absolutely love cotton candy ice cream especially from a place on the East Coast called Stewart’s so this is just my jam. Also, are glitter crellies making a comeback? This one is so fun for the spring and actually, I could see myself putting this on my toes even though I usually only put creme nail polishes there.
The sun came out, so I wanted to show this polish in the sun, so you could see how pale the base is. I find that most cotton candy ice cream is have a pale pink base so this is perfect.
Lastly, like all glitter, crellies, I love to use matte topcoat. The matte makes the glitters sort of float and pop against the base. I love the matte pink, blue, and purple glitters in different sizes. Now I just want some cotton candy.
This is why I love KB. This is also on the list. She needs to have a collection with more glitters. Great for spring or summer. Thanks for sharing 💜
ReplyDeleteIt's such a fun throwback to her earliest colors. I love the pale pink base with the bright matte glitters. A winner for sure!
