Polish Pickup Offerings July 2021: Rewind

Hey all! July is the annual Polish Pickup Rewind, where fans vote for their favorite polishes from brands and those exclusives come back for just this month! There are 2 options. First, one polish will be available in the Polish Pickup Shop from July 2-July 5th. Second, another polish will be available in the maker's shop for the month of July. Please pay attention to my details below.

Just a simple NOTD today of a color that is no longer available, my b. Of course, you can check trade and sale boards for it. Why do I post NOTDs? Well, as I have been cleaning out and significantly purging my stash, I have been using my blog as an encyclopedia of sorts! Seriously, I have looked at my swatches to see what are close dupes and what can be given away or sold. Actually, I have 300+ polishes that I will be putting for sale (and many more than that that have been given away!). So let's see if this polish makes the cut...just kidding, it is definitely a keeper.

Lately, because of the heat and humidity, I like to keep my art simple, because it means less time in my tiny and hot nail polish room. All right y'all, I have a confession. When I received the Zoya Easy Neons, I thought fun, neons! I can post this in late June since it's a summer collection. But then the summer Dreamin' collection and I went "whoops, guess the neons weren't the summer collection." Then came the Cosmic Pop trio and well, now I am behind! I decided to start by showing the Cosmic Pop trio since this is actually a limited edition collection, so if you want it, don't wait. Also, these have been some of my favorite Zoyas in a long time! So let's take a look!

Hello there! Pusheen is saying hello to you today by kicking the water dish. Cats are so funny. A kitty I once had (may she rest in peace) would always want fresh food. If it was more than five minutes old, nope, kicked it away. So when I saw this art, I immediately thought of kitty and chose to do that image.

Hi all! When I swatched the newest Golden Hour collection, a few of the colors reminded me of older colors of theirs. So of course, I had to do some comparisons! I really did this so I could see if I needed both of them in my collection or to give some away. Well, let's see how they look together!

I have the spring collection of Jessica Cosmetics today. Hey, it is still technically spring! Plus, I love these types of colors when I want a break from neons. These are also clean and bright and fun. I was so excited as soon as I saw promos of this collection on Instagram and they did not disappoint in person!

If you have not noticed, I usually reach for rainbow and neons for my birthday manicure, which is always my blog anniversary post. It is actually what started this blog back in 2012. I cannot believe I have been blogging for nine years. Yes, I say that each year. Each year, I wonder how long I will keep this up, despite all the things that occur. For example, another blog has decided to copy my blog. SIGH. It's so much work and my blog still has not recovered from the forced 3 week break. I also am still banned from posting links on Facebook and Instagram. So this blogging thing seems to fight me, despite me still wanting to share art. So let's look at this one.

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today, I am sharing the newest collection from Stella Chroma! The Ticket Stub in Your Hand collection is inspired by Phish! If you have never heard of Phish, well, they are a jam band! Going to their concerts is a legit experience haha. I was lucky enough to go to one of their concerts like 12 years ago haha. Phish tickets are so artistic and beautiful. I searched and searched and could not find mine, but I know these colors were on it! If you don't know Phish, this is a gorgeous collection, so let's take a look!

Hi all! I'm back with another iris-inspired polish from Alter Ego! This is part of Hella Handmade Creations which will be available on June 14th. This month, Cynthia was inspired by her own irises on her property! Apparently, if planted properly, they bloom every year. I have to look into this because I love annual flowers!
