Jessica Cosmetics Golden Hour Collection Comparisons

 Press Sample

Hi all! When I swatched the newest Golden Hour collection, a few of the colors reminded me of older colors of theirs. So of course, I had to do some comparisons! I really did this so I could see if I needed both of them in my collection or to give some away. Well, let's see how they look together!

Just to note, when I did these, it was very hot and humid, so I had a fan and it caused my top coat to bubble and some leveling. But, since I was doing these to look at the colors and not as gorgeous swatches, lol, I left it as is. I have worn all of these colors and they level out nicely and do not bubble. So look at these as color comparisons only!

Apricot Ice: 3 coats plus top coat. Index and Ring.

Boho Babes: 3 coats plus top coat. Middle and Pinky.

Boho is a darker orange. Apricot Ice is much paler. I know it can be difficult to see, but these are two different shades of orange!

Sunglow: 3 coats plus top coat. Index and Ring.

Yellow Meringue: 3 coats plus top coat. Middle and Pinky.

Yellow Meringue is lighter and paler. There is more white in Meringue, so it's a bit patchier (and here is where you can see that I did not wait to put on another coat. It was my fault!).

Shadow: 2 coats plus top coat. Index and Ring.

Falcon: 3 coats plus top coat. Middle and pinky.

Falcon is more white-based and therefore paler.

I hope these comparisons helped! I really did them for me to see if I should donate any, but they are surprisingly all different! It just goes to show that swatching helps because all of these looks similar in the bottle!
