Good morning. I'm here post-Halloween (and a little sad about that) with a perfect autumn purple. If you're ready for deep and moody, then I think I've started right! Makers Dozen is a collaboration box that is available individually through maker's sites. Every month, there is a different theme and 13 makers are given a specific color! Well this month is Wine and Cynthia got purple! Meet Moe and Dave!

Moe and Dave: 2 coats plus top coat.  As I mentioned above, the theme is wine labels. Cynthia chose a classic brand, Mogen David. The "label is a plain purple with gold print, so the polish is a purple base with micro gold glitter." This is like a dusty eggplant purple. It's definitely different than the purples I usually see! There a blue/violet shimmer in there too, which creates that unique purple. Of course, there's that added sparkle. I used top coat just to bring out the shine!

In the sun, you can really see those flecks of blue and how unique this purple is. Lots of sparkle too, but it doesn't detract from the pretty base. Formula went on nicely too. Great coverage!
