I shared the new Stella Chroma American Muscle collection yesterday, and I'm back with art today. I decided not to do car nail art LOL and go with summer florals. I love floral looks and I had a stamping plate begging to be used, so let's look!

Here's the plate, which is Spring Garden L007 and retails for $2.99. It has a variety of floral patterns. There's full nail images and smaller ones. It's a nice selection. I chose the third from the bottom right for this mani.

The look is actually very simple but it packs a punch! I started with a base of Stella Chroma Grab the Wheel, a brilliant bright blue. I then stamped my chosen image in white onto two stampers.
I used the other three colors of the American Muscle collection to fill in the image. I used All Charged Up as the leaves, Hug the Road for the flower petals, and Crazy for Speed as the center of the flower.
Next, I added a coat of sticky coat to my center nails and stamped on my flowers. How awesome did this pop off the blue base. I topped it with No Smudge Top Coat (see below) and then matted it!

As you can see, I had no smudges and this is because of the new No Smudge Top coat I used from Born Pretty. I love how the 4 Stella Chroma colors work together.

And just to show off the top coat and how this look before I matted it. I had used the No Smudge Top Coat, which retails for $2.99. I was super impressed with this top coat! I ALWAYS smudge my stamping, especially white stamping. I took a risk and top coated this right after I stamped and look, no smudges! I am impressed!

ReplyDeleteThat’s why I love smaller images for reverse stamping and I usually do accent nails. Makes it much more accessible!
