Good evening! Today was a whopping 87 degrees and I am not happy! We went from winter to summer. Where's spring? Where's some 70 degree days?! Anyway, I'm coming from an excellent weekend! I finally saw Endgame, and I got to see Beetlejuice and King Kong on Broadway! I love living in NYC, as I wake up in the morning and go to the box office to buy cheap tickets! Lastly, I'm starting to get back into running and 6.5 miles (and got my first sunburn UGH!). So today, I decided to sit down and get some swatching done! The last three weeks I've been wearing one art a week, wow!

I FINALLY got my lost package retrieved from USPS! It took over a month, but I'm glad they found it! I figured I would share this color anyway, since Girly Bits did send it but then I found out that Polish Pickup will be doing a "rewind" month, where makers get to bring back a color in July! Not Waterlilies, the color below, is up for voting in the Girly Bits group, which you can join and vote on!

Not Waterliles: 3 coats. Before I get people yelling at me, this polish was made intentionally sheer so that all the shimmers and flakes would up front! If the base were more opaque, it would swallow the shimmer and flakes (which GB did test and did not like). If you don't like visible nail line, you can do one coat over black or white, or layer it over a blue or green creme. I really wanted to show off the finish in this one and went with the polish on its own.
From Girly Bits: Not Waterlilies is an intentionally sheer cyan blue base with amazing copper-red to green colour shifting shimmer, and blue to aqua colour shifting iridescent flakes. It is opaque in three coats on shorter nails and those with less prominent nail lines. For those with longer nails or more prominent nail lines, it can be layered over aqua, light blue, or white undies, and layering over black really makes the copper shimmer pop.

I know that my nails are very visible. This is just my life with an opaque free edge. I will say the photographs make it look so much more prominent than it was in real life. The shimmer shifts all over the place from orange to green. The flakes are awesome and my camera freaked out and made them look crazy bright in the shade!

This polish is cruelty-free and 5-free. Again, it is not currently available because it was from April's Polish Pickup, but if you love it, head to the Facebook group and vote for it! And check back tomorrow for some gorgeous art with this polish!
