Morgan Taylor Thrill of the Chill Hunter Master Art

Press Sample

I was going through my stamping plates and saw a moose image and for some reason, decided I must use the Morgan Taylor Thrill of the Chill collection with this image. I've had the plate next to the collection for weeks, and finally got a moment to do it! Well, if you're wondering about my title, when I showed these nails to my boyfriend, he said they were Jagermeister nails, LOL. The liquor bottle does have a similar theme, but I was going more for cabin in the woods sweaters LOL.

I used my favorite four colors of the collection for this nail art look: My Main Freeze (off-white), Caviar on Ice (taupe), Angling for a Kiss (red), and Don't Let the Frost Bite! (purple). You can see my full thoughts and swatches of the entire collection HERE.

I did some plaid nails on my outer nails with a base of Caviar on Ice. Then I double stamped with Angling for a Kiss and My Main Freeze.

My middle nails were a bit more intensive. I wanted to use the one image but the different colors. I recently saw a video where when you stamp, you pick up the excess pattern with a dotting tool! MIND BLOWN. I always used tape and it was so annoying!

I stamped the entire image with Don't Let the Frost Bite! and removed the moose and arrows with the dotting tool. Then stamped the moose with Caviar on Ice and removed the outside pattern and the arrows. Understand what I mean?! It made this so easy! Of course, I had to matte the whole thing for a woodsy, rustic feeling.

This collection and this pattern was meant to be. Don't mind me while I wear this for a few days!
