Lechat Dare to Wear Metallux Collection, Swatches and Review

Press Sample

As promised, I'm back with 3 of the Metallux collection! This collection released in June and contains 6 multichrome shifting polishes. I feel like this is the summer of multichrome. I've been featuring so much of it! These have great shifts in 2 coats, so let's check them out!

Infinity: 2 coats. This one shifts from a yellow gold to a grassy color, with hints of blue in extreme angles. You can see below that the middle of my nail is a yellow gold, the cuticle has a burnt orange color, and the tips are moving into a green!

In the sun, the shift is apparent, which is rare for multichromes! Usually, you just see the base color.

Mesmerize: 2 coats. This is the shiftiest polish, representing all colors of the rainbow! It's a magenta base but there's gold, green, orange, and blue! Let the photos show it off.

It's so shifty indoors!!

The next photos were taken outdoors to show the insane shift!

Here's the orange copper I promised. This is so shifty!

Paradox: 2 coats. This is a creamier formula, rather than frosty. Because of that, the shift isn't as strong. It's basically a shifting purple, which you can easily see below. Outdoors, hints of red are apparent at angles.

Here's the red! It's still pretty even though the shift isn't as crazy as Mesmerize.

Now on to the nail art! I actually took pictures of this and did some stamping over it. Hence why there's no clean up. Well turns out, I didn't like my stamping LOL, so I'm showing the before picture. Even with my messy cuticles, how awesome are these nails? I did a basic smoosh mani of all three colors over black!

  1. I'm not a die-hard purple fan overall, but I'm always drawn to them when they are part of a multichrome shift. Loving Paradox!
