This month's Polish Pickup theme is Under the Sea! Alter Ego was inspired by a fellow maker's coral and the outcome is this glittery and shimmery top coat. Alter Ego is one of many makers in the Polish Pickup this month, where you get to curate your own box of exclusive polishes!

Courtney, the owner of 6Harts, has an awesome aquarium at her home, and this is where Cynthia took her inspiration. Here's the photograph that the polish was inspired by!
Courtney's Frogspawn Coral: 2 coats over Alter Ego Enamels Creme de Cassis (a blue creme). This is a green holographic glitter top coat with loads of blue, violet, and pink shimmer. It's sheer, so it's more of a layering polish. I did two coats, simply because I wanted more glitter! I topped it with one coat of top coat. I love the addition of the shimmer.

Sunshine! You can see how super shimmery this polish is but it's not frosting at all. The shimmer is more like flakes.

The pink shimmer is really evident in person, but best seen in photos in the shade. Isn't it pretty?
