The Summer Solstice was on Sunday which means it is officially summer and if you want summer, you want the beach and water and sand. And if you want those things, you need Paint Box Polish's new collection, The North Shore Collection, all inspired by Hawaii! So let's take a dive into this collection because every polish is a knock out.

The North Shore Collection consists of two microglitters, two cremes with ultra-chameleon chrome flakes (every color of the rainbow) and an amazing glassfleck. I also love the extra touch on the bottom of the bottles. So now let's check out this collection!

Waimea Waters: 2 coats. I've worn this three times already. 1) It was my birthday manicure because I ran out of time to do art and this was perfect in every way. 2) The base to my Poison Ivy nail art. And now! This was opaque for me in 2 coats. The colors are amazing. The base is actually more of a teal blue (no staining!) and with the gold holo green it transforms to green. Amazing.

North Shore Shrimp Shack: 2 coats. This is a color that EVERYONE can wear. I mean it. It is the perfect shade of coral filled with a plethora of colorful rainbow ultra chrome chameleon flakies and I love everything about it. If you can only afford one, let it be this. The flakie trend is everywhere but this is flakies done right!

Blue Above the Bay: 2 coats. It's the cleanest, most beautiful ocean on my nails. If this is what the water in Hawaii looks like (vs. my beloved Hudson River), I need to be there. The white and blue flakes reflect in a beautiful way. This is amazing.

Then I decided to gradient Waimea Waters over Blue Above the Bay. It works perfectly as a gradient polish as well as alone and ohhhh my, I want to be in Hawaii right now!

Haleiwa Town: 2 coats. Similar to Waimea Waters, but in a berry purple base. The gold holo glitter turn it into a gorgeous bright berry pink. This is also so sparkling in the sun. Completely opaque in two coats.

I also used Haleiwa Town as a gradient over North Shore Shrimp Shack. I love the different textures together. It just works.

Sunset Beach: 3 coats. Yellow may not be for everyone, but add some rainbow flakies and yup, it's for everywhere. Sunset Beach is really lovely and in the shade, the yellow is almost green. This one you can see the rainbow of the flakes much clearer than in North Shore Shrimp Shack. It's very unique.

The North Shore Collection will be released SATURDAY June 27 at 12 EST. North Shore Shrimp Shack and Sunset Beach will be $9.50 and the rest will be $9.00. It's hard to choose a favorite. I genuinely love this entire collection. It's cohesive and fits the theme perfectly.

It's difficult to choose, but I think Haleiwa Town and Waimea Waters, plus the blue are my favorites!
