Nothing to Disclose
Hi all! You've probably seen tons of swatches of the new China Glaze Electric Nights neon collection. Well here are my pics for the neon collection and when I saw them together, I immediately thought WATERMELON! These polishes are so eye-searing, so if you love neons, you need this collection!
I started with a white base of polish. You do NOT need a white base when wearing these polishes alone but since I was doing nail art, trying to layer the red over the green and vice versa would have created a weird muddy color.
After the white dried, I used the polish brush to paint the majority of my nail with Red-y to Rave. Then I used a striping brush to create the watermelon skin with Treble Maker, leaving a bit of the white for the watermelon rind. Lastly, I added one coat of the multi-colored neon glitter Point me to the Party for the "seeds."

Do you like my abstract watermelon nails? Most people actually figured it out in person! So I guess it wasn't TOO abstract. The China Glaze Electric Nights neon collection is available in stores NOW.

That's a cool way of creating the red part of the melon - love it!
