Well guess I did very limited holiday nail art this year. It happens! Remember the trend of Pinkmas? Pastel holidays are back and all the rage! So I did a pastel holiday skittle look! Let's check it out!
As usual, I saw a variety of designs like this on Pinterest, so who knows who originated it? I sort of combined a bunch of looks into this one! I love peppermint swirls, lights, and the tree! The colors repeat throughout the nails so it feels cohesive.
Here are the colors. I used mostly cremes and just the one sparkly gold for some dimension.
- Pink: Zoya Tweedy
- Red: Zoya Hannah
- White: KBShimmer White Here White Now
- Darker green: Jessica Cosmetics Flower Crown
- Lighter green: Jessica Cosmetics Mint Blossom
- Gold: Morgan Taylor Gilded in Gold
As usual, I forget to take pics of my nails. It is such a flaw! I ended up fixing these a bit after wearing them shiny and then wore them matte like this for a few days.
Since I wore it shiny for a few days, I figured I would share how that looked. I like it both ways! The peppermint swirl is so striking! I actually like it as one accent nail. I ended up doing the same design on my pinky and thumb just to bring it all together.
Who knows if I will get another design in, but hope you enjoyed the few I did post!

Pastels for the holidays....who knew . It really works. The manicure is gorgeous . I'm not sure why it is but the details seem more enhanced when matte. As usual I like it both ways. Thanks for sharing 💜

I agree with you about details with matte top coat. I feel like that’s why I always do both. What are you wearing on your nails?
DeleteAbsolutely nothing except kb ridge filling base coat. I work a 12 hour night shift.
DeleteLol we were mani twins!! That was literally my mani too. Thank you for all you do and working on a holiday—such an important job!
