Stella Chroma Crystal Visions, Spring 2025

Press Sample

I wouldn’t be me if I was swatching a collection over a month after it came out. Actually, that’s not very typical of me but between my nail break and getting the flu and the progression in my doctorate, I am certainly behind. I also really wanted to swatch these polishes when my nails had a bit of growth and when I could take some pictures and I think you’re going to like how they came out.

These polishes are gorgeous! I love a cohesive collection with a clear inspiration and this one certainly is that!

Selenite is a soft crystal that is used to remove negativity from spaces and to cleanse other crystals. My Selenite is a gorgeous, simple white polish with a heavy helping of fine white shimmer that dries down to a matte finish. To change it up, apply a glossy top coat!

Selenite: 3 coats. Then with top coat. Of course, you knew that I would love this polish because white polishes happen to be my favorite. I absolutely love the sparkle of the white shimmer. It’s a beautiful play of different white textures. The matte is fun, but I just love this one with topcoat. You could get away with two coats, but I opted for three for photos. Not sure if it was necessary, but I wanted it. The matte gives me wintry vibes and with topcoat that gives me spring vibes, but I love it both ways.

Fluorite is a common crystal used in the office or study areas. It is used to boost mental clarity and focus. This polish has a sheer, pale, blue/green base with purple metallic flakies and a strong blue/green shimmer—best at 2-3 coats.

Fluorite: 3 thin coats plus top coat. I knew I would love this before even putting it on. I did three very thin coats so that I could have more of those purple/blue metallic flakes on my nail without making my nails too thick. But again, this one was nice in two coats so it really depends on your preference of how much flake you want on your nail. I just love the green shimmer with the purple flakes. It is an amazing combination. All of the flakes laid flat for me so no issues to report. Add some topcoat for shine. When I was done swatching, I put this one back on because I loved it so much.

I decided to matte this polish because of the flakes and I am not mad at how gorgeous this is. I am not sure which way I love more but having the option is nice!

Rose Quartz is one of the most commonly used crystals. It is known to boost self-esteem and to attract love. This polish is a soft pink with holo flakies, rose gold holo glitters, linear holographic shimmer, and a strong pink/gold shimmer. A sister shade to our summer trio collection! Best in 2-3 coats.

Rose Quartz: 2 coats plus top coat. At first, I thought this was your one of the mill rose gold glitter. That couldn’t be further from the truth. As I put the first coat on, I noticed the gorgeous gold, pink shimmer, and the subtle holo flakes. I also love Stella Chroma formula and how it lasts on my nails so I intend to purge any other similar rose gold. I love that this one also combines flakes, glitter, and shimmer, and that’s what I think makes it stands out against others. If you are missing a rose gold glitter polish, I recommend grabbing this one. I also think the rose gold rounds out this collection nicely.

If you were thinking that this looks close to Crown of Roses, think again. These are two very different polishes and both are equally awesome. Crown of Roses is one of my all-time favorites. But as Rose Quartz says, it is a true soft pink and Crown for Roses is more pink and metallic.

Moldavite. Woah. If you know, you know. This crystal is known to bring it's wearer RAPID transformation. My polish is a muted green shade with holo flakies, black holo glitters, linear holographic shimmer, and a strong blue/green shimmer. A sister shade to our summer trio collection! Best in 2-3 coats

Moldavite: 3 thin coats plus top coat. I had to google this one on account of the description. Wow! Because I paint with thinner coats because that’s my preference, I opted for three coats for this one. If you paint with thicker coats, then you’ll be fine with two. This one has tiny black glitters in it and it’s really funky and fun. As you add more coats, they are not as visible unless you put your hands up to your eyes, but just knowing they are there is fun. I should have put this on for St. Patrick’s Day because there are hints of gold when everything is combined.

Hematite is a very useful crystal! It is widely known as a calming stone. It's also used to boost self-confidence and can aid with memory. This polish is a creamy black packed with three different holographic elements. Holo flakies, silver holo glitter, and linear holographic shimmer. Opaque in 2 coats.

Hematite: 2 coats plus top coat. This one has the same flake, glitter, and shimmer combination that’s in Rose Quartz and it’s really pretty. Although black is not a typical spring or summer color it is so sparkly that the black is almost subdued to a dark gray, and it actually just suits the season. It is so sparkly and almost gives off rainbow vibes so it is definitely a confetti party on your nails.

So as I mentioned earlier, this collection is out and has been out for some time. If you were waiting to save money or your next payday, now is the time to grab these beauties. I cannot wait to create art with them. They are perfectly sparkly for sunny days ahead.
