Geode Nail Art with KBShimmer Enchanted Forest Collection

Press Sample

I posted my KBShimmer Enchanted Forest swatches last month and I knew I wanted to do some nail art. The finishes of the art made it a little difficult for art since they were so shifty and shimmery, but hey, I finally thought of something!

Listen, I know these are not geodes. Something about them reminded me of geodes though! I originally was going for a loose squiggle look where I alternated some colors, but I did how this came out and how the super shimmery colors play together!

I decided to choose the three super shifty shimmery polishes together. I started with Frequent Flyer, which I originally layered in my swatches. I did not mind a sheer base for this art, so I did it on its own. To my surprise, three coats basically covered my nails. On its own, it has more of a gold tone.

I used a striping brush and Hidden Potential (purple) and Dawn to Earth (blue) to draw squiggles. All these colors are so shimmery and shifty, so I took 438 photos haha.

This is the manicure four days later! The sun came out so I popped outside to take some photos. There is such a strong blue to green shift and it is so so pretty!

When I was in the sun, I figured, let's go for some shade shots and boy was I happy. I really love these colors together! I am even staring at my nails now as I type this.

The Enchanted Forest Collection is available now. These colors above retail for $11. Have you grabbed any of these colors?
