I seriously love my niece so much. I have loved spending so much time with her! I did a special birthday manicure last year for her and I figured I would do it again. Believe it or not, she still loves fish and aquatic life and I wanted to do that theme again this year! I even got her cute nail stickers of fish and coral and she was so enamored with her nails. Just adorable! I made her the cutest aquatic cake too and she was labeling all the sea creatures and it made my heart sing!

I have actually had this stamping plate for a while! I wanted to stamp this image on my niece's nails, but I am not sure she is ready for stamping yet (but she is fine getting her nails done!). So I decided to do it on myself. I love the entire aquatic scene with an octopus, fish, mermaids, and a shipwreck!

I decided to do a smoosh mani! I started with a white creme base and then I added blobs of polish on my stamper head. Then I "smooshed" the colors onto my nail!

I added the greens for a bit of dimension of my underwater manicure. The colors really flowed together nicely.

Of course, I had to try this out in matte! I don't know which I prefer but I love both. It has been a while since I have done a smoosh mani and I really love how it came out. By the way, my niece called the middle nail mermaid a hammerhead shark HAHA. She is so smart; I can't take it!
