Oh hello there! Are we ready for a few Polish Pickup posts? January's theme is Crystals/Gemstones. This theme is a little overdone, in my opinion. Almost every group custom I've ever see is pictures of rocks. But people are getting super creative and I love it! Stella Chroma got her inspiration from a movie, and I'm totally down with that!

First let's start with this month's sugar scrub. I just love these scrubs. They are scented nicely and the scent stays on my for a while. My skin gets so soft with this scrub! This month's scent is Amber Glow. I really love this scent. It's earthy but there's a hint of freshness to it. Since I suck at describing this, Stella Chroma says "a warm amber scent with hints of citrus and jasmine with a teeny bit of patchouli." I'm not a huge patchouli person, but it's really light, so it's great.

Stella Chroma Forgot the Crystals, January 2018 Polish Pickup: 3 coats plus top coat. So this polish is inspired by Napoleon Dynamite, when Napoleon finds Uncle Rico's time machine (LOL). Well, to activate the time machine, he needs "crystals." Let's just say the crystals don't transport Napoleon anywhere.

This is the palest icy pink color (it looks like a soft, girly white), with pink shimmer, and holo flakes. If you know me, I love sparkly neutrals with shimmer. It's soft but sparkly and I'm in love.

If you didn't know, it's been wind chills of negative degrees, so I ran outside and cried, but took these sun pictures for you.

Of course, I needed to represent the crystals on my nails! I stamped crystals in white for a subtle look, so they would look like the inspiration picture! I matted the manicure, and I have to tell you, obsessed. This is a beautiful polish.

Forgot the Crystals retails for $12. The sugar scrub is 2.5 oz and retails for $5.50. I love the scent as it's not too sweet and really, any male could use it.
