Remember Borghese nail polishes? Oh man, I loved those and I still have a few like the highly sought after Almondine and others. I stopped by this booth while at Cosmoprof and we chatted about the old days and polish. Borghese no longer makes nail polish but now they have a ton of skin care. I didn't post about them right away because I wasn't aware of availability. Well, I happened to see this brand at Macy's, so now I'm going to share since I love these products! I also noticed Macy's has a ton of sales on these products, so it's a perfect time to show you.

First, I'm showing you deluxe samples of their mud masks. These are what I saw in Macy's and I want to say the set was $18, but it could have been less. When I say deluxe, I mean it! I've used the purify mask at least 8 times and I still have probably 5 more uses out of it! I don't see this set on line but I do see them full size and they are on sale for $22.75! I bet you would easily get 40 uses as it is 7 ounces and these are 1 ounce samples.
These mud masks each have their own function. As I've said I've been using purify and I love it. It is a light mud mask, which is why I love these. Mud masks can be so thick and taking them off feels like a task. Nope not with these. Purify smells amazing, like grapefruit, and really makes me feel cleansed.

Here's what I mean by it being a light mud mask. I slather this on my face and let it sit for about 15 minutes because I wanted the full effect. It so easy to remove! This is gentle enough that you could use it multiple times a week.

Next I have the sheet masks, which come in the same four functions: Moisturize, Purify, Calm, Energize. This was a nice little gift set, and it costs $24.00 for the set or $7.00 each so you get some savings. I noticed that on Macy's, you can buy 4 of each (like a set of 4 Purify) for $16.80. Now that's a deal!

The back of the set has the directions. You can wear it for 5 minutes or 25. I wore it for a full 25.

Because I loved the Purify mud mask, I tried out the Purify sheet mask first. The mask is sandwiched between two protective sheets, so it was really well packaged. This was a first for me to see. Usually it's just folded up, so this was higher quality.

I'll be corny but WOW. My skin felt really wow'ed. Again, I wore it for 25 minutes. There were inserts for it to fit the nose, so it will fit all kinds of faces. My skin felt so moisturized and beautiful. I woke up feeling refreshed. This has been my favorite face mask I've tried so far. I have tried 4 brands and still have a few more, but I love this one the most so far.

You can purchase the Fango Borghese line online at various storefronts like their site and Amazon, and Macy's, but you can buy the line at Macy's in person! Looks like Macy's sells most of their mud masks and sheet masks, and even other items that I haven't tried yet.

I like that they seem gentle & that you can use them multiple times a week. I'm always wary of masks that rip half my skin cells off! :) Great review!

DeleteI've tried a couple of Borghese mud masks before and loved them. The packaging was orange - I love how vibrant these are, and Calm and Energize sound like my cup of tea.

DeleteI may not be a make up or product whore, but I enjoy a good mask. My husband and I don't get a lot of alone time. Sometimes a simple 15 min mask is the only quality time we have in a week. This is definitely something I would be interested in! Thank you for this!
