Zoya Enchanted Holiday 2016 Collection Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Good morning! I am so excited for this collection! Pixies are back full force and the two shimmers are awesome, so let's get to this! I have some fun art coming up soon with this collection too so stay tuned!

Zoya Enchanted Holiday 2016 Collection Swatches and Review

Zoya Alice: 2 coats. This is the first of the pixies and my personal favorite. I know it is the favorite for because it is simply so unique for the textured finished. It's in between a periwinkle and a purple and there's a gorgeous rainbow shimmer in there. It's just a wonderful color.

Zoya Elphie: 2 coats. This is a rich emerald green pixie dust. It doesn't have as much shimmer and sparkle as Alice, but I don't mind. This to me is a true pine green and it really is a festive green. I didn't experience staining on the nail, but you'll want to be careful with your cuticles as with any rich green.

Zoya Lorna: 2 coats. So I totally whacked my index nail and re-did it. As I waited for it to dry down, I felt this would show you a perfect example of how pixies work. You need about 10 minutes for it to dry down and become matte. So my three nail are at 10 minutes and my index is at 5. You can see the transformation and the sparkle begins to pop as it dries!

Lorna is a burgundy wine pixie. I like the departure from the normal holiday red. Who doesn't love a wine colored polish?!

Zoya Olivera: 1-2 coats. This polish is totally Northern Lights to me. When I look at it, I think of shifting night skies with that classic green aura. Olivera can be opaque in 1 coat, but 2 coats deepen the shimmer. I'm not big on dark polishes, but this one just works.

Zoya Saint: 2 coats. Like Alice, this was the one everyone raved over. And it's totally worth raving for. I wore it immediately and everyone grabbed my nails. It's an icy periwinkles with a strong pink shimmer. It's stunning. Zoya did an amazing job on both the shimmers in this collection.

Zoya Waverly: 2 coats. Whoa! This reminds me of a starry night in pixie dust version. It's really rich and perfect for holiday. I'm ready to gradient this with Zoya Cosmo! This is sparkly and subtle and fancy and woo hoo! Again, always be careful with removal and cuticles.

Now, instead of swatches, I am showing you bottle swatches because they aren't even close. You can tell based on the bottles! Nothing is close to Alice!

Zoya Lorna and Zoya Chyna. Yea, not even close. Lorna is a deep wine and Chyna is a bright red.

Here are the blues! You'll want to click on the photo for a larger image. Zoya Nori, Zoya Waverly, Zoya Nyx. Nori is the Magical Pixie Dust so it is must chunkier and Nyx is a much dustier blue tone.

Here are the three green pixie dusts I have. Again, click on the photo for a larger version. Left to right: Zoya Chita, Zoya Elphie, Zoya Cece. Not even close.

So what are your thoughts on the Zoya Enchanted Holiday Collection? At first look, I wasn't sure for such a pixie heavy collection, but I love them all. This original pixies are just top notch formulas and beautiful colors. Both shimmers are winner for me! I wore Saint out and everyone asked me about my nails!

I BET there will be a holiday promotion soon. That's what Zoya is known for! If you can't wait, the Zoya Enchanted Holiday Collection is available HERE on their web site. The collection retails for $10 each or you can grab the entire sampler for $60.

    1. I really thought it would be my least favorite because I don't love super dark colors but ugh, it's perfection!
