I always like to compare collections to polishes from the same brand that I already own. I know KBShimmer would never dupe themselves, but in this day, it is important to look at how we spend our money! As a note, over the past four years, I have been purging polishes and creating a blog post to sell them. That has not gone up yet...yup, four years! Included in that sale will be over 150 KBShimmer polishes. I simply cannot keep them all, and I have given so many away. And nail polish remover and cost money so hopefully I will get the blog sale up soon. All this to say, you may not see certain comparisons because I simply do not have the polish anymore or do not want to pull it out of a sales pile. So let's check them out!
That’s My Jam vs Jelly Much? Aug 2022 PPU: In the bottle, they actually look very close, but I was surprised how different they were. I will be keeping That's My Jam for sure. I love it.
Stick with Me Vs Flip Out: I feel like many would immediately think these are similar, but they are clearly not. Flip Out is much more creamsicle.
Simply the Zest vs Squeeze the Day: I love yellow polishes like this so I will be keeping both. Squeeze the Day is deeper and almost a gold.
Put a Ring on It vs What a Catch vs Current Affairs: As you can see, What a Catch is so different! But now that I look, the other two are similar. There is a difference in shimmers which affects the overall color.
Sunset in my Ways Dec 2023 PPU vs Bucket List vs Sea-ing is Believing: So Bucket List is nothing like the other two, but as you see in the bottles, they do look very similar. They appear to be very similar finishes, but different shades of blurple.
Aim to Breeze vs Dressed to Krill: Aim to Breeze is a much brighter pink/magenta with a very strong shimmer. I wanted to compare Aim to Breeze to Melt Down, but that is another one that I have purged (but seeing my blog pics shows they are very different; I do have other brands that are similar though).
I wanted to compare Give Me a Scoop to Such a Smarty, but I already added that to the purge pile. Also, I had nothing like One in a Melon from KBShimmer, so I did not do any comparison.

I was very excited to see you are going to have a blog sale. Then i realized probably not shipping north. I know one thing i would take off your hands......the zoya wide brushes.....and most of your polishes. 😂 Thanks for the comparisons. I always appreciate those .
ReplyDeleteI barely remember how to ship within US, haha. If you walk me through it, I would be willing to try for you. It is why this blog post labeled July 2020 still has not happened lol. I actually have LOADS of just the brushes. They used to send them separately for people to have a choice but I was always too lazy to switch them out.
DeleteI truly appreciate your offer. Took me some time because I usually get parcels not ship them lol. I discovered that shipping a small parcel from the U.S. to Canada is around $41 cad. So pricey and I'm not sure how all the custom stuff works. I will just have to be disappointed . I am so grateful to you . Thanks 💜
