Hello all! Here with KBShimmer's Polish Pickup offering for August, which arrives Friday, August 4th. This month's theme is Dreamscapes, whatever that means! As always, I usually pay attention to the polish and not the inspiration and this one sure is pretty! So let's take a look at too many photos!

KBShimmer Pistachio Macaron Hand & Body Scrub, $10, No Cap

Pistachio Macaron Hand & Body Scrub starts with the tempting aroma of pistachio nuts and heady almonds, giving a cherry-like fragrance. Sweet notes of honey give way to rich, creamy vanilla, while slightly floral heliotrope amps up the almond notes of this sweet scent. 

**WARM WEATHER NOTE: During warmer weather, the oils can separate and settle in the jar; this will not harm your scrub. Just stir before use to combine any oils that settle on top. Scrubs are packed by weight, not volume.

 

Yum! I love pistachio anything! I do wish this was more nutty and less sweet, but it's still great and something I would love in a cuticle oil!

 

KBShimmer Follow Your Art Nail Polish, $12.00 , No Cap

Follow Your Art is an ultra-shifty multichrome nail polish. A bright teal catches your eye and quickly shifts into a cool emerald and rich blue. Deep grape and magenta purple give way to warm gold and orange tones at extreme angles. Color-shifting flakes pop with pink, fuchsia, red, and orange tones, while a dusting of micro holo glitter twinkles against the colorful base. This shade covers well in two coats for a dream-like shade you will have to see to believe.

 

Follw Your Art: 2 coats. This one is super pretty. I feel like we have seen the base before but adding in those color shifting flakes set this apart and makes it super special. You mostly see blue and purple but as you shift your nails, the teal is very easy to see. At extreme angles, you can see gold and green. I’m just a big fan of flakes combined with multichrome. I did forget to put topcoat on, but you want to do that to make it nice and smooth as it dries with a little bit of texture. I like that little bit of holo, but I’m glad it doesn’t overpower it.

 

Here it is in the sunshine, indirect sun, shade. Everything. Multichromes are so multifaceted so I like to show them in different lighting so you get the gist of it!
