I Chews You Valentine's Day Nail Art

All these plans to do lots of fun Valentine's Day art and I get sick...AGAIN! This has been one of my roughest winters. I'm just constantly sick. So it has vastly lowered my amount of time to do nail art since I just don't have the energy. But I am recovering now, and posting this just in time!

So I had a picture of this fun pun and I believe it was from a greeting card. I always say that greeting cards are the best inspiration for nail art! I have a whole bunch of them that I wanted to do this year, but oh well!

 

I used a variety of brands and colors for this look:

• Pink base: Zoya Tweedy 
• Medium blue: Jessica Cosmetics Oasis
• Periwinkle blue: Duri Cosmetics Freeze the Day 
• Red: Morgan Taylor Classic Red Lips 
• White: KBShimmer White Here White Now   
• Black: Stella Chroma New Moon 
• Bubble hearts: Zoya Joanie
  

I really wanted to wear this one matte but I also loved the bright and fun bubblegum pink of it shiny. So I did matte it in the end! Obviously, you can see that the art is more visible this way. Matte always makes everything POP. 

 

Originally, I wanted the lighter hearts to be outlines like bubbles. Then I made some wonky hearts and decided I needed to fill them in. My other hand was just the pink base with the lighter pink heart bubbles. I love how the matte shows off the different blues in the shark too!

 

I wanted to do this art LAST YEAR. Lol. I actually picked out the colors and put them into a blog post and this post sat in drafts for a year! Of course, I ended up changing the colors a bit, but I am so glad I finally go to do this art!

 

So this is my one punny and fun Valentine's Day look. So cute!
