Alter Ego Snake Charmer, Fantastic Flakies Custom

As I mentioned yesterday, Alter Ego has a lot of releases this month. The good thing is that these exclusives are available on the Alter Ego site so you can grab this, Color Burst, and the color of the month (which I will show next week), all at once! Snake Charmer is available until March 31st and you can truly use it over any polish. 

Snake Charmer: 2 coats over a cobalt blue creme. This is a flake top coat with white and green flakes. It will look awesome over black or white, but I wanted to bring out the blue and green tones. It looks great at one coat, but I really wanted to up the flake goodness! You can see all the shimmery flake goodness, which makes sense for the Fantastic Flakies Group!

In the shade, you can see how dense this flake top coat. You can see the different shades of blue and green as well. This is so pretty over the blue.

Flakes demand matte! The base almost turns some of the flakes periwinkle. I just love how this look! Matte makes the flakes look like they float off the base. You can even see hints of pink and holo shimmer. 

I am not sure if this is even a snakeskin image, but it was the closest thing I could find! I love how the flakies pop under the image! And the matte just makes it amazing. I used a silver stamping polish for this and the Lina Stamping Plate Totally Negative.
