I really appreciate when a maker is truly a fan and creating a collection out of love and not just what is trendy. Pam, of Stella Chroma, is a true Harry Potter fan! Actually, I have sent her a few Harry Potter-themed gifts, because I know how much she loves the fiction! So for the fall, Harry Potter is going back to school! Would Hogwarts be virtual learning too? Who knows. What I do know is that this collection is inspired and perfect to welcome in September!

Straight from Pam's mouth to my blog: "For fall, I've redone our very first
(as old brand... Paint Box Polish) collection. We're releasing The
Hogwarts Houses 2.0 on September 1st. Because that's the first day of
school for Harry Potter and his friends at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft
and Wizardry, of course! The names of the polishes are taken from the
song sung by the Sorting Hat right before the Sorting Ceremony." True fandom here! I actually have two of the original versions, so I'll link them so you can see the update!
As a not, each photo is OTT light, sun, shade, and then matte!

A Ready Mind 2.0: 3 coats plus top coat. 2 coats had the tiniest VNL so I did 3 for photos. "
Our Ravenclaw polish is a deep, creamy blue that applies like perfection
in two coats. As a nod to both the books and movies, this polish is
accented with silver and copper flakies." This is deep and moody but perfectly blue. Some blues are so dark that they look black, but not this one! It's a gorgeous night sky color. The flecks are so lovely. I just picture a beautiful winter night.

This polish is inspired by Gryffindor house. A creamy maroon base with
gold holographic glitters and gold flakies." Mmmm this is the loveliest shade of red and I love how this is so squishy. The glitters peep through and are perfectly balanced with the red base. Check this out matte. And head

Cunning Folks 2.0: 3 coats. "
Sly Slytherin know how to get what they want. And they want this green
shade! Grass green with silver holographic flakes and a touch of
silver/gold shimmer." My total favorite of this collection! I love this green! It's like a little but olive-y to tone down the typical grass green but it's also bright. It is just a great shade. I also love the holo flecks. If you are on a budget, don't miss out on this one!

Just and Loyal 2.0: 3 coats plus top coat, but 2 coats was enough and the third did not really do anything. "
Hufflepuff are typically bright and sunny folk. We tried to convey that
with this sunny yellow shade. Highlighted with irregular black flakies
as a nod to the yellow and black colors of House Hufflepuff." This is my second favorite. I love yellow polish. Everyone should. I love the smattering of black flakies. It is VERY different from the original color which you can see
here. This polish just makes me happy!
