Jessica Cosmetics Indie Fest, Spring 2020

Press Sample

The moment I saw this collection on Instagram, I was all for it! Then I loved it even more once I got it in person. I think spring is one of my favorite seasons for nail polish. I love the bright pastels and transitional cremes and shimmers. This collection basically has all of it. Keep reading to see my full review!

Bestie: 3 thin coats. You could do two thicker coats, but I prefer thinner coats. This has an awesome speckled finish. It's an off white base with coppery-red-orange flecks. I just love it. It's perfect for the art that I have in mind. I hope Jessica does more polishes in this finish! It's just so fun and I really love the colors of the flecks.

Center Stage: 2 coats. This is a bright coral creme! It's so bright that it is almost a neon, but not really because it dries super shiny! This is one of those pinks that will look gorgeous on every skin tone! Goes on like buttah.

Desert Dust: 3 thin coats. This is the same as Bestie; you could use thicker coats but I like thin. This is a gorgeous desert-y shimmer! It has a bright gold shimmer but there's dusty brown flecks in it. Because it's not a deep brown, it's more of a spring brown, if that makes sense. Love this finish!

Dream Catcher: 2 coats. But almost a one coater! This is almost a dusty mauve. I feel like this is for the person who doesn't love pastels, but still wants a spring color. It's one of those winter to spring transitional colors. I'm digging this! Excellent formula!

Headliner: 2-3 coats. Again, this just depends on how you polish. I did three thin coats. I love this color! It is similar to the Phenom Smoother Talker from Sweet Talk collection, but this one has less turquoise. I actually plan to do a comparison but if you put my photos side by side, you'll see the difference! I love how tan this colors makes me.

Petal Power: 2 coats. This is like a pinky creamsicle color. It has a bit of orange undertones. I can't explain it! I plan to compare it with Pumpkin Spice from their Spring 2019 collection, but this is waaayyyy less orange. This is just a calming color.

The minute I saw these colors, I knew I would love them. And I do! The formulas are buttery and shiny. Each of these colors retail for $9 and they are available now!
