Hanukkah (or Chanukah, as I spell it) begins on December 22. I rocked these nails from last Tuesday night until this past Sunday and you guessed it, I took pics on Sunday! But hey, at least you can see the amazing wear from Jessica Cosmetics. I really love their polishes and their winter collection just landed on my doorstep last week. I can't wait to show you them, but you can enjoy this nail art for now!

It's so hard to come up with inventive nail arts for Chanukah. We have a few motifs and I tend to use them each season. The difficulty is getting creative with driedels, menorahs, and well, that's it! LOL. I tried to paint latkes once and they were brown blobs. I love love love how this came out! Seriously!

I used three blue cremes from Jessica Cosmetics. The base is Oasis (a cobalt blue) and then I sponged on Thunderbird (dusty teal) and Blueberry Cream (pale blue). I then used Morgan Taylor Gilded in Gold because it's a super opaque metallic gold. I painted on driedels, swirls, and dots.
I painted on swirls since we swirl driedels--they are tops anyway! I can't wait to play driedel with my niece this year.

I like the dimension that the sponged look created. I wasn't sure it would give much of an effect as I was doing it but I was shocked how it all came together! Love this!

I can't believe Chanukah is less than a week away. I have some menu planning to do!
