If you didn't know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I know, there's tons of awareness months now, but Breast Cancer Awareness has been around my whole life! To commemorate this cause, Stella Chroma made a gorgeous trio AND she will be donating a portion to mammograms for women (see below). First let's get to the details of this trio from Pam, the creator behind Stella Chroma: "The October Trio will release September 27th. It is a trio of pink
polishes, and a portion of sales of these polishes through the month of
October will be donated to a fund at my local hospital that helps pay
for mammograms for women who do not have insurance. (The polishes are
NOT limited edition, but only October sales amounts of these three
polishes will be figured for the mammogram fund donation)."
New Day: 3 coats plus top coat. This is definitely a two coater but my nails are just so opaque. T
his stunning
magenta/orange/gold multichrome is as gorgeous as a fall sunrise. No
flakes, no holo, no shimmer. This polish is pure, stunning multichrome. $13 for 15mL. Wow this is soooo shifty. I swear, this is one polish. With every tiny movement, new colors appeared. This shift is just so strong. It's a great autumn color too. Stamp it with gold leaves and you have some fun and easy nail art!

Ribbons for Heroes: 3 coats plus top coat. Again, this will be two coats for someone with shorter nails or less opaque nails.
Ribbons is a creamy orchid pink with gold flakies and gold shifting
shimmer. Less flashy than the others in this trio, but definitely not
boring. $12 for 15 mL. It's so hard to pick a favorite in this trio. Each one I put on, I was like oooOOoohhhHH. I love this shade of pink. It's really flattering. The flakes are gorgeous too. I wish I had matted this because I know it will be awesome.

The trio will be available as a set for $33 on
September 27 through October 11th. After that, the polishes will be available individually at their retail price. I love this trio. Stella Chroma puts so much thought into her polishes and these colors just work! Great cause and gorgeous polish! Which one do you love?!

ReplyDeleteOh wow. There's so many breast cancer "awareness" things that I can't stand or don't really help anyone, but this is a super direct thing that actually helps people who need screenings. Amazing and wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYes! It's so easy for everyone to say "go get a mammogram" but many don't think about the cost behind it! Pam, the maker of Stella Chroma, also donates proceeds every quarter to a different charity!
