Match My Dress: Fall Gradient with Zoya

Press Sample

I shared the Zoya Sensual collection last week and now I'd like to share a simple art. Over the weekend, we celebrated my father's birthday with a surprise birthday. His birthday is actually tomorrow , but we planned a surprised party Sunday! I knew I was going to wear a specific dress, so of course, I had to match my mani! My dad was sooo surprised and it was so awesome.

I wanted to do art with the Zoya Sensual collection but it just got too complicated so I went with a simple gradient to match my dress!

I started with a base coat of a coat of white polish. Then I used a make up sponge and painted a stripe of Zoya Ellie and Zoya Ripley (which is from the fall 2019 collection) and I blobbed it on my nails. My dress had a dark base with purple and pink flowers so I wanted a brighter nail. Lastly, I added some bling with KBShimmer A Star is Formed, which is a holo top coat.

Here's my nails against my dress. It was a black based dress with lots of purple and pink florals! I did my nails on Saturday, but I really roughed them up decorating the party room, tying balloons, and of course, I took pics of it today, Tuesday, but you can see the prettiness of it!

And because the sun was out, I thought I'd show the sparkle that the KBShimmer holo top coat adds. It added a nice subtle amount of glitz! I've been using this top coat a ton the last few weeks. I can't believe I haven't used it more!
