Happy Monday! Normally people groan about Mondays, but not me. And specifically, today is Rosh Hashanah! If you didn't know Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish new year. As we welcome 5780 today, I figured I would do a themed manciure, which I rarely have the time for! Why apples and honey? Why these colors? Well..keep reading!

So why apples and honey? We say L'Shanah Tovah, which means Have a Sweet New Year! Well, it's tradition to each apples and honey during this time.

So I had actually wanted to gradient KBShimmer Chai-Huahua and Oh My Gourd for a long time. Once the Up and Autumn collection shows up last week, I needed to add it to this gradient. The autumn vibes are strong with this one. I chose these color ultimately because Oh My Gourd reminded me of honey and Up and Autumn and Chai-Huahua are apple colors!

• KBShimmer Oh My Gourd (yellowy-orange)
• KBShimmer Up and Autumn (pink)
• KBShimmer Chai-Huahua (red)
• Stella Chroma Fenway (green)
• Zoya Foster (brown)
• Makeup Sponge
• Striping Brush 

I did a gradient of the 3 KBShimmers directly on my nail, since they have such opaque formulas. Then I did my ring nail with a bunch of apples and my thumb with one large apple.

Here's an uber weird post, but I had to share the thumb image since I did a completely different art for it. I tried to give each color their spotlight, so I did play around with accents in addition to the gradient. I had to really throw in your face the apples motif!
