Makers Dozen's theme for October is Horror Movies. That's perfect for October, since it's Halloween! My favorite! If you don't remember, Makers Dozen does one theme a month with 13 makers and each maker is assigned a specific color. Well Alter Ego is red this month...can you guess the inspiration based on the polish name?! I know I did!

Worst Prom Ever: 2 coats plus top coat. There is a tiny bit of VNL but I honestly didn't realize it in person so whatever. I'm sort of used to VNL with red polishes; it's just the story of my nails.

Alter Ego chose Carrie as her inspiration. It's based on the color of the dress Carrie was wearing after they dumped the pig's blood on her (So yuck).  The original color of the dress was actually a blush pink because it was tainted. So Cynthia's polish is the red base with pastel pink metallic micro glitter. I love the thought that went into this!

So I shared this polish yesterday with some stamping. But head over there again to check out the polish matte. It's so glorious with matte top coat! I do love the sparkles in it. I can imagine using it during the holidays with some green and white art! Imagine a hunter green shimmer stamped over this with gold? So pretty! There's a bit of texture to this polish, so I added top coat for full shine!
