I shared the Jessica Cosmetics metallic duo last month and now I'm back with some simple art! They do stamp lightly but I decided to use the metallics as my base and stamp over them. I feel like I've been seeing more and more metallics lately, so they must be having a moment in nail polish trends. I love these classic colors, so why not?!

I started with a base of two coats of Pearly Platinum, a platinum colored metallic. This one has chunkier particles and is a bit shinier. It still lays completely flat, but if you head to my swatches that I linked above, you'll see what I mean.

Then I took Gleaming Gold and I wiped off as much polish as polish and brushed it on my nail. This is how you get the dry brush look! It's one of the easiest nail arts you can do.

I wanted an abstract and artistic image to stamp over the dry brush so I reached for the Born Pretty Artist plate, which I used here. I like the modern images of it. I chose to use a simple black to contrast the shiny base. Lastly, I decided to matte this look because I feel like I don't matte metallics enough!
