Floral Holo Nail Art with Girly Bits Spring Holos

Press Sample

I'm just chilling here, wondering when it will stop raining so I can go outside and enjoy walks and look at pretty flowers. The east coast has just been pummeled with rain and it seems to always be on the weekend. Thanks, nature. So instead of waiting for spring, I figured I would pull out Girly Bits Spring Holo collection and create some springy art!

I usually use cremes for art, and that's because they make them pop! But I wanted to challenge myself.  I do love these colors together and you really get a feel for the spring palette. I ended up mattifying the look in hopes that the colors would pop more, but ultimately, I think a creme base would have helped.

I used Holo from the Other Side as my base. Then I used both greens: Lords of the Springs and Absinthe Fairy and created grass and stems using a striper brush. Lastly, I used Calla Me Maybe and Crocus Pocus as the flowers, with Lunar Ice in the center. It was a springy and fairly easy look to complete!

  1. It’s fun to use something other than creams for nail art, even mix and match a variety of finishes in one!
