Jessica Cosmetics Metallic Duo

Press Sample

It's Friday! I have lots of weekend plans. Tonight, I'm heading to an academic society I belong to for a lecture (it's fun, I promise! And there's wine and cheese lol). And Sunday, I'm finally seeing The Book of Mormon! I've been wanting to see that show forever. In between, I'll have 30 papers to grade and hopefully catching up on swatching but LOL, I'm so behind! I have these two metallic polishes from Jessica, so let's look at them!

Jessica Cosmetics Metallic Duo

Pearly Platinum: 2 coats. This is definitely metallic platinum! The first coat is a little sheer but it looks perfectly opaque in two coats. It's definitely a platinum color. It's a bright silver that almost glows. Obviously with these, the less brushstrokes, the better. Metallics can be streaky but these are nice! The first two photos are with an OTT light and the third and fourth are in direct sun.

Gleaming Gold: 1-2 coats. All the yes! This one can easily be one coat, which means it will be a great stamping polish! I did two coats out of habit. But really one is all you need. This gold is actually more of a rose gold/copper mix. The first two photos are with an OTT light and the third and fourth are in direct sun.

I really wanted to do some nail art and I will, but probably in May. Unfortunately, the post office "lost" two packages from indie brands. The brand resent because they are awesome, but now I have a backlog of polishes. Thanks post office 😡. But I really feel like these polishes will stamp and they would make for an awesome gradient.

This duo is available now and retails for $9 each.
