So apparently I don't watch as many horror movies as I thought, because many of the Polish Pickups are based on movies I haven't seen. No big deal, because I'm creating a list of movies to watch! I've watched a lot of zombie/undead movies since I teach a class on undead literature, so I feel like whhaatt that I haven't seen Constantine, which inspired this KBShimmer.

The One Soul: 3 coats, on its own. This dries on its own with a velvet finish, so I wanted to share what that looked like first. It actually dried very fast! At two coats, there was a bit of VNL so I added a third for complete opaqueness.
The base color is really interesting. It's like a minty green teal blue. LOL at my description. It has lots of silver shimmer that makes it sparkle!

Surprise! It's a thermal. So the cold color is this deep midnight blue which will be darker the colder you are. As I have mentioned so many times with thermals, it's just too hot! I would dip my nails in ice water and not two seconds later, it was already going back to the cold color!

I gave up and just dipped my nails in water. This is taken just a few seconds later and can you believe it was transforming to its cold state already? But you can see the color shift!

I topped it with top coat, so you could see the shine in the shimmer. There's definitely a bit of sparkle in the shimmer!

Again, here it looks when I fully dipped. I can't wait to pull this out when it's a bit cooler and see the natural shift! Maybe stamp some snowflakes on it?

I love the deeper colour so much - hopefully the polish will remain deeper for longer in the Winter!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely it will. It is just so hot and humid now, that it will not stay in the cold state LOL. Once it cools down, I’ll return to this color.
