Lechat Dare to Wear Indie Fest Tie Dye Nail Art

Press Sample

I've been wanting to do this art foreverrrrrrr. I feel like I've slacked on the nail art front just with all the boxes, exclusive group customs, PPU, HHC, haha. I try to do nail art with these polishes, but I really do love to wear my art vs swatch art. So I caught up on swatching and knew I could wear this for a few days, so blam! Tie Dye with Lechat Dare to Wear Indie Fest!

So I did neon tie dye nail art about a year ago, and it definitely takes some time. Because of that memory, I originally planned to do center accent nails of tie dye. I did them so quickly, I was like, ENTIRE MANI TIME! I think the reason this one went so much faster is because I only did 4 colors, vs six. I think that's the trick to fast tie dye manis!

I started with a base of one coat of a white polish. It doesn't need to be opaque, but it helps the colors only need one coat of swirls.

I chose to use 4 of the 6 colors for the mat. In order of how I swirled.

Gold: Electric Daisy, starting in the center of the nail and spiraling out
Purple: Wild & Free, swirl this on the outside of the gold
Coral: Hearts on Fire, continue adding to the outside of the purple
Teal: Free Bird, fill in the leftover white swirl

Another Lechat collection that I loved. I knew it would be amazing for art. I also planned on doing a dotticure, but the tie dye just rocks my socks. They retail for $6.95, which is a steal for the quality you are getting.
