Bee's Knees Lacquer, Random Offerings

Press Sample

Hi there! I have three offerings from Bee's Knees Lacquer today. I received this at Indie Expo Canada, and then I bought some more! But first, I wanted to share these three. Bee's Knees is just everywhere lately! They release regular collections, have PPU colors, they are in boxes! So over the past month, I've been able to try out a lot of their colors and I am loving it (just back tomorrow for a super duper special color!).

Bee's Knees Lacquer, Random Offerings

Bee's Knees Lacquer offer such complex finishes, that I've shown the polishes in multiple lighting.

House on Haunted Chill 2.0: 3 thin coats. This is a blue based polish that is loaded with so much shimmer and some flakes! The base is a bit sheer so that the flakes and shimmer can come through. It's a sort of blurple, but it leans more blue on me. Then it has iridescent flakes and shimmer. It's so sparkly despite the fact that there's no holo or glitter!

Ughhh this is so pretty in the shade! You can see a rainbow of colors in the shimmers and flakes!

Wow, I love this matte. I see myself doing some negative stamping with this as the base! I also want to do some haunted house stamping to go with the name!

**So this and the next color, The World, I did two coats, took a picture, then a third coat with the magnet. Both polishes are opaque at two coats, but in order to do a magnetic effect, you need wet polish.

I wanted to share these polishes as they look on their own. I know many people don't love magnetics, so you can see if you love these polishes without the magnet (I love them!).

Luck Isn't a Superpower: 2 coats, then 3 after magnet. This is such a unique color. So it's sort of a grey base but it's loaded with so many microflakes, that it almost gives out a blue/grey/green base tone. The flakes give it almost a speckled look. You can see the strong blue green shimmer and iridescent flakes.

Wow! I just love how the shade shows off all those beautiful flakes!

So the magnetic shift in this one is very subtle. After looking at their website, it seems that the magnet actually prompts the shimmer to release a purple color, which I do see! But it's a very different magnetic effect from the next polish.

And matte, because any polish with this much flake goodness needs to be matte!

The World: 2 coats then 3 coats after magnet. This begins as an blue-based olive green holo filled with gold shimmer and holo flakes. Wait until you see how this changes with the magnet, but I love the base color. I sort of get Halloween vibes with this one!

Check out that gold shimmer and the flakes. I really love this color as is!

Here it is in the shade with the blue to green to purple iridescent flakes!

Here's the polish after the third coat and the magnet applied in different ways, hence why the effect is different on each nail! So once you apply the magnet, blue and purple and gold explode from the polish! It transforms into a multichrome.

This polish is just fun. It was like magic wearing it!

So there's the three today! These are all currently available for $12 each. I'll be back with my purchase soon, but of course, review stuff first! And again, check back tomorrow for a very special Bee's Knees polish!
