Hi all! Hope you had a nice Fourth of July if you celebrated! Mine was laid back. The heat wave has been so gross here in NYC. Also, if you live in this area, the beaches are a mad house and just not fun. I need a swimming pool to go to! That's my style on such humid days!

Champagne Taste, Beer Budget: 3 coats on its own (index and middle), one coat over green base (ring and pinky). I knew this color would never fully cover up my nails, so I wanted to share how it would look either way.
Champagne Taste, Beer Budget is a sheer lime green polish loaded with aurora shimmer. The shimmer is really prominent and gorgeous and that is because of the sheer base. I actually don't mind it at three coats--the VNL isn't crazy. When I layered it over Jessica Cosmetics Green, the shimmer does lose a little richness, but it's still gorgeous.

The shimmer in this is mostly a gold to copper to pink shift. I think it works really well with the green base color! I bet this would be awesome layered over black as well!

DeleteThis polish is so fun and bright, it makes me smile! I heard about the heat you guys in the East are getting. OUCH. I mean we get heat (111 today) but most people have A/C here and we don't have that much humidity. I hope you have A/C to get some relief.
