Oh this is exciting! A new KBShimmer collection is releasing next week, and I have a look at the entire 8 piece collection, inspired by travel and all the things that make each vacation unique! I know I'm always taking pictures on vacation, especially to inspire nail art, so I totally relate to the collection.

Cactus If You Can: 2 coats plus top coat. Might as well start with my favorite. Green is also a favorite of mine and throw in some holo flecks and a strong pink shimmer and wow. The green is muted and soft and then the shimmer packs a punch.

Wander-ful World: 1-2 coats. This electric magenta linear holo is what a holo lover needs. The linear holos in this collection are no joke. They have such a linear flame, that going out in the sun might be dangerous. The formula is awesome and basically covered in one coat. I think this one will stamp as well!

Don't Fear the Reefer: 2 coats. This looks sheer on the first coat but builds up nicely. It's a minty green but sometimes leans a little blue to my eyes. I love greens and this is a fun take on it. Again, it's very linear with the holo flame.

Rise and Grind: 2 coats. This really does remind me of a mocha latte. I drink my coffee black most of the time, but when I have a latte, it obviously has milk in it. This is a nice take on a latte colored holo.

Now and Zen: 3 coats. This can be opaque in two coats but the third coat adds some depth with shimmer. This one has a bit of multichrome sparkle. It begins with a turquoise blue, but then shifts to aqua, then purple in extreme angles. It's filled with holo flake sparkle to bring it together.

The next two photos are in shade and in my office normal lighting. You can see that the purple shift does appear as you move around!

Succ It Up: 3 coats. This is a rich light purple base wirh holo flakes and then of course, a shifting shimmer that is amazing. It's mostly aqua, but definitely gives hints of greens. If you google succulents, you can see the inspiration and how they have muted but beautiful colors.

Hakuna Moscato: 3 coats plus top coat. I love me some moscato on a warm summer night. It's so refreshing! This polish is also refreshing! It's a rose gold base with load of gold shimmer and some holo for good measure. I feel like this goes with my rose gold phone! Love!

Meet Me at the Barre: 3 coats plus top coat. This is one of those pastel pinks that make me look so tan! I will definitely be putting it on my toe. It did have some streaking and needed three coats to full level out. I'm glad one creme made it into the collection!

The Wanderlust Collection for Summer 2018 will be available June 15th and Noon EST for $10 each. You can also grab the collection at Polish Con White Plains on June 16th. Tickets are still available! Favorites are hard but Cactus If You Can and Succ It Up won me over with their contrasting shimmers. Let me know your favorites in the comments!

ReplyDeleteWhen I’m back from Indie Expo Canada, I’ll compare them. The PC polish had more flakes and a stronger shimmer if I recall and no purple shift. You better say hi at PC!
