Margarita Nail Art

Press Sample

As we enter into the weekend, I wanted to share this margarita nail art that I did and have been wearing. You might drink a margarita or two tomorrow so why not have festive nails? I did nails like these a few years ago and I figured I wanted to redo it.

Margarita Nail Art

I'm torn on my new look and my previous look. I actually think that my old look appears to be more obviously margarita over this one but I also love the smoosh manicure base of this one. Margarita nails are always green but I’ve actually never had a green margarita. They’re usually a yellow color. So this look is actually more accurately more margarita!

So I started with a base of Morgan Taylor My Main Freeze. Then I did a smooth manicure with Stella Chroma Pistacchio, Pure Ice Free Spirit, and Morgan Taylor Days in the Sun. Then I dabbed on some OPI Piourette My Whistle. Lastly, I added Zoya Snow White and OPI Solitaire as my salt.

I loved pulling out old polishes for this mani. I need to wear textures more often.

Smoosh base manis forever. Enjoy your margaritas!

  1. Ah cinco de mayo at its best. We went to a Mexican restaurant this week since we knew we couldn't go this weekend. The decorations were so festive.

  3. This is fun! I keep forgetting it’s Cinco de Mayo, because my cousin is getting married tomorrow and I’ve been thinking of it as her wedding day. I’m sure I can sneak in some tequila at the reception, lol!

  9. YES Margaritas! This is such a great festive nail art look - we are looking to get a margarita machine at work (hopefully) and I feel that I need to recreate these to bring in the happy!
