Jessica Cosmetics Spring 2018 Collection, La Vie en Rose

Press Sample

Good evening, all! I have a really soothing collection from Jessica tonight. I love creme collections and I have beautiful art in mind for this collection, I just need time. Right now, I feel totally overwhelmed with life and blog balancing, and I'm trying! I'm just behind but I have so many gorgeous spring collections to show you! Let's get to this one right away!

Jessica Cosmetics Spring 2018 Collection, La Vie en Rose

La Vie en Rose: Life in Pink. The concept makes sense with the execution of this collection. Pale whites, pinks, and purples, to create rose hues for the spring. For some reason, I just feel so calm when I look at this collection!

Cheeky:  3 coats + Phenom Finale Shine Top coat. This is an off-white, beige creme. Sometimes the beige disappears and it turns white. This one is totally dependent on your skin tone. It's a great palette cleanser.

Pinkies Up: 3 coats + Phenom Finale Shine Top coat. This is a dusty rose creme, and again, I feel like this one will shift based on skin color. Depending on your tone, more or less pink may show up!

Lavender Lush: 3 coats + Phenom Finale Shine Top coat. This is the only shimmer in the collection, but it's much more obvious in the bottle than it is on the nail. It's still really lovely and I like the hint of purple.

Peony: 3 coats + Phenom Finale Shine Top coat. Jessica Cosmetics calls this a vivid coral. I call it a dusty yet bright coral. I think this color loves me. I love corals.

Lavish: 3 coats + Phenom Finale Shine Top coat. This is a definite white polish, but something about it makes it not so stark. I think there's supposed to be a hint of pink in it. Whatever they did, it makes it more wearable and will be awesome for art!

Posh: 3 coats + Phenom Finale Shine Top coat. This is a warm peach color. I love this one on me too! It's like a fresh look on mannequin hands!

Now is this collection like nothing you've never seen before? No. Is it refreshing and perfect to move me from dreary grey days to sun and flowers? You bet'cha! Each polish is just really relaxing to wear. I know that sounds weird, but it's true! I'll be back with art next week. Each color retails for $9.

  1. These colors look like they'd be nice for nail art. Of course I'd try to use them as a base shade for leopard nails.

    1. I’m definitely going to test it out. This brand usually ends up stamping well. The pinks at least and Lavish. I’ll report back!
