I shared with you some nail art yesterday that showed off this beauty! The theme for Polish Pickup in October is Mythical Creatures. I know Pam of Stella Chroma well, and I had a feeling it would be something from Harry Potter or Game of Thrones. She is a true fan! Well, she chose the Fawkes from Harry Potter to create this rich red shimmer!

Here is a photo of the inspiration for the polish. It's mostly red with gold accents and I would say the polish definitely fits!

For Fawkes Sake: 1-2 coats plus top coat. It really could be opaque in one coat! I did 2 coats for good measure and top coat to bring out the shimmer. To be honest, I'm not really a bright red person, but on my shorter nails, I totally love it! The shimmer also makes it more wearable. There's gold shimmer, bronzes flakes, and sparse gold holo glitters.
