China Glaze Accent Piece with Autumn Branches and Glitter

Partial Press Sample

My polish purchases these days just aren't what they used to be, haha. When I saw the China Glaze Street Regal for Fall 2017, I knew I needed to golden mustard color, no question. Then I received this glitters from Beauty Big Bang. My brain went off and said "Put these babies together somehow!" and I did!

First, here's a look at the glitter from Beauty Big Bang. It's a loose glitter so it's perfect for placement. Now, when I ordered this, I thought there would be copper and pink, and it reminded me of autumn. Truly, it's just gold, green, and red, so it has Christmas vibes instead. But hey, it works. Sometimes, this happens on these sites. The glitter pod retails for $1.59, so it's not a big deal in my opinion. They now have videos and other photo reviews that show the colors more accurately.

Here is China Glaze Accent Piece in two coats. It pulls more orange that yellow on me. I love it. It might not love me, but I don't care! This is so unique and gorgeous!

Then I used China Glaze Heroine Chic from last years Fall collection and added random branches!

Lastly, I dabbed a sticky base coat on the branches, and added my glitters one by one. I wore it shiny, but my photos had so much glare from the glitter. So I decided to matte it for photos, and I love it. It's just gorgeous!

So what do you think of this? I really love how the odd colors come together and I love using the glitter in a different way. The glitter stayed on great and I think that was because of the sticky base, so I'll be doing that method again! I know I'll bring these out for ornament glitter during the holidays!
