Zoya Sophisticates for Fall 2017, Swatches and Review |
Beth: 2 coat. This is described as a soft, sandy rose polish. I definitely see the sandy color and the shimmer is really pretty. I like that's it's not frosty! I see this as a base for nail art.

Elaine: 2 coats. This is a deep espresso brown. It does look basically black, but you can see at my cuticle line, that it's definitely brown based. I feel like this will stamp!

Gal: 3 coats. Gal is a peridot gold and it's really pretty! I thought it might be streaky but nope. It has gorgeous copper flecks in it as well.

Hadley: 2 coats. Like Elaine, this is a deep marine blue that's almost black. I reach for these as bases to the awesome flakes and powders that are out there now!

Hera: 2 coats. LOOOVEEE at first sight! This is a red mauve creme, and it's delicious. I love this color so much. There's just enough dust.

Joni: 2 coats. I am really digging the pinks and purples in this collection. Joni is no exception. Dusty plum is always a winner.

McKenna: 2 coats. This is a soft almond shimmer, but I do wish it were more shimmery. It's a great neutral base. No clashing here!

Mona: 2 coats. Burgundy plum screams fall. This isn't anything new, but it's a great formula.

Padma: 2 coats. Padma is awesome because it's the reddest pink I've seen and it's a beauty! You need it.

Presley: 2 coats. Be still my heart. Seriously digging the pinks and purples. This one is a smokey purple and I'm in love. It might be my favorite!

Tabitha: 2 coats. This is a great hunter green shimmer! I'm actually wearing this now as a base to some flakes from Born Pretty, which I'll share next week. I am not sure I have a color like this in my stash. Guess I was lacking!

Yvonne: 2 coats. Like Mona, this isn't exactly original, but if you love these colors, it's a great alternative.

What's weird is that when I first saw the press release, I wasn't that excited. But seriously, Hera, Padma, Joni, Presley, and Beth are just amazing. Yvonne and Mona have their place with red lovers, but those other 5 are the standouts. Elaine and Hadley are just a tad too dark for me, as I wish that base color showed through more.
I'll have comparisons up tomorrow! Which ones are grabbing your eye?!
