Hello All! I'm officially back from my two week vacation! I flew out to Portland, Oregon and then rented a car and drove to Rapid City, South Dakota. We drove a total of 2105.3 miles and went through 4 states and I think 9 National Parks! WHEW! Before I left, I planned on chopping my nails off, and then my middle (ALWAYS MY MIDDLE!) nail decided to break! Guess it was meant to be! Anyway, this was the last manicure I wore before leaving on my vacation, and now I get to share it with you!

The Summer Vacation Collection is the newest KBShimmer collection and you can see my full swatches HERE. I actually planned on an entirely different look when I started this mani. I wanted to stamp, but the humidity at the time wouldn't let me pick up any images. Then I was going to do an Ikat design, and failed. So I just freehanded some chevrons! If they aren't perfect, that's because I'm not.
My base was Squeeze the Day, my absolute favorite of this collection. Then one by one, I did arrows!
I used Shady Beaches, Flock This Way, Berry Chill, and No Wave for this look. Sealed it all in with KBShimmer Clearly on Top.

Then I wanted to see how the holo flake shimmer looked matte. I wore it shiny for 5 days, so this is how it looked right before I took it off. The flakes are cool matte! I prefer this look shiny, but I will definitely be using a matte top coat with flakes for art later on!

ReplyDelete😂😂😂😂 sometimes I only matte right before I take off (like here) so that's only 4 Nails but I always have a stock of 3 bottles of KBshimmer matte top coat!!
