Zoya Wanderlust for Summer 2017, Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Another summer collection coming at you! These 12 piece collections mean you need to grab some coffee and take a seat while you scroll the pretties! Zoya has been really knocking it out of the park with their formulas lately, especially cremes. I use their cremes for nail art a lot, so if you're a creme lover, check this out!

Zoya Wanderlust for Summer 2017

**Note: I did not use top coat on these polishes because they are super shiny and self-leveling! Also, most of these cremes can be one coaters!**

Zoya Byrdie: 1-2 coats. This one appears a bit brighter in person. It's described as a muted fuchsia pink and that's spot on. Excellent formula. This can be a one coater.

Zoya Byrdie

Zoya Byrdie

Zoya Cora: 2 coats. Again, like Byrdie, this can be a one coater. Actually, most of the cremes in this collection are nearly one coaters. I love love this color. They call this a muted coral creme, but it pulls really bright on me! It's definitely a more orange than pink coral.

Zoya Cora

Zoya Cora

Zoya Arbor: 1-2. This is one of the odd summer colors, so of course, I love it! It's a bright but muted olive green. If a summery olive green creme existed, this is it. I love it!

Zoya Esty: 1-2 coats. Esty (oh man, I keep typing Etsy!!) has a super slight shimmer. You can see it in person, but my camera didn't want to pick it up. I wouldn't buy it for the shimmer alone, but it's there. This is a bright bubblegum pink.

Zoya Journey: 2 coats. A shimmery strawberry red! It's definitely spot on with the colors of a strawberry. I like that the shimmer isn't crazy heavy so I didn't have shimmer everywhere upon removal. It's a refreshing color.

Zoya Journey

Zoya Journey

Zoya Lois: 1-2 coats. This is very close to Zoya Liv. I do always love these purples, but I'm wondering how close they are!  Both of them have wonderful formulas. I think Lois is a bit brighter.

Zoya River: 2 coats. This color couldn't be more literal! It's a rive ocean cobalt blue with that same great shimmer as Journey.  This color seems to be the rage in all the summer cllections.

Zoya Sonja: 1-2 coats. This is a super opaque watermelon red creme. I love it. It's so opaque that it did cause a little staining on my cuticles upon removal. I bet this stamps. I bet all these awesome cremes stamp!

Zoya Mandy: 2 coats.  Mandy is a pink counterpart of Journey. Whereas Journey is strawberry, this one is more "berry" like raspberries!

Zoya Sawyer: 2 coats. A pastel creme that's 2 coats? I love this creamsicle orange. Perfect formula.

Zoya Winnie: 1-2 coats. I keep repeating myself, but this is another amazing formula. This is a softer pink, but it's lovely.

Zoya Scout: 2 coats. Like all the shimmers in this collection, the first coat is sheer but then it's opaque in two coats. This is the other unusual color, but I adore it. It's an olive green but I think it's more of a chartreuse. I love chartreuse; I'll take it in any variety.

So, there you have it. Wonderful cremes with amazing formulas and two unusual greens that I adore!

Here's my question: do you want a comparison post?   I do enjoy doing them but they are a ton of work. Some of these colors are close to previous collections, so if you want a comparison post, I'm down! Let me know what colors you want to see compared!

  1. YES to comparison post! Many thanks in advance -- I know they're a lot of work but they help so much in choosing which to purchase.

    1. It is so pink heavy! I think it appears to the mass market polish lover. The formulas are excellent though

    1. I love the formula. I think that's what sets apart the rather pink palette.
